Hi, I’m Louisa, and I’ve been where you are.
There was a time when I looked successful on the outside, but inside, I was struggling. Depression, self-doubt, and constant rumination followed me into work, draining my energy and clouding my confidence. What was happening in my personal life was affecting my professional life, because I didn’t yet have the tools to manage my mental wellbeing. When I finally learned how to take care of my mind, everything changed. I created the Wellbeing Watercooler so others don’t have to wait as long as I did to feel stronger, more in control, and more fulfilled at work and in life.
Louisa Jewell has been a trailblazer in positive psychology and workplace wellbeing for over 25 years. As the founder of the Canadian Positive Psychology Association and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Master’s program in Applied Positive Psychology, I have inspired thousands of people worldwide to build resilience, confidence, and joy.
My best-selling book, Wire Your Brain for Confidence: The Science of Conquering Self-Doubt, has been named one of the top 100 psychology books of all time.
